Red Beans

"Red beans" is a general term that can refer to several different types of beans, but most commonly, it refers to adzuki beans (also spelled azuki or aduki) or kidney beans. Adzuki beans are small, reddish-brown beans with a slightly sweet and nutty flavor, popular in Asian cuisine, especially for making red bean paste. Kidney beans are larger, darker red, and commonly used in dishes like chili and red beans and rice.
